Billy Joe Saunders vs Canelo
Will be getting up for this one...if it happens of course.

Not always Bills biggest fan of his antics outside of ring but he can fight and is possibly only one who can give Canelo a challenge at moment.

I have a funny feeling he is gonna pull it off. I hope he does and will be up to watch or go all the way though...

Even better is the shit that Hearn has been getting and proof his loyalties are no longer with British fighters, its all about his pockets. Just like his CUNT accountant dad.

Who u got and why?

BJS can beat the 'Butchers Boy' on points, but won't get the decision
Not convinced he carries the power to knock him out so struggling to visualise a win
Only way is to comprehensively outbox him throughout and wear him down to a standstill and stoppage
All most unlikley

Funny enough though, I too have a feeling he wins - just fucked if I know how?

Speed and accuracy vs speed, accuracy, power, stamina, strength.

Canelo slows him down and finishes the fight in the 8th or 9th.

Re: Billy Joe Saunders vs Canelo
Billy has to knock him out, they will not allow anyone beat the duracell on points. so for that reason, Billy comes up short

Re: Billy Joe Saunders vs Canelo
I think he could very well box his face off. If he is leading convincingly on points, I just don't think they can rob him again. A robbery will be a draw then a rematch.. that's the worst im.expecting. trouble with me.is I believe everything boxers tell me and having just watched the IFL interview with BJS tonight, I'm all on on him. I think he has something we have not seem before....

When I say Rob him again I mean a canelo opponent.

Have they sorted out all of the nonsense about the size of the ring/canvas etc?

It seemed like the usual pre-fight shenanigans in Texas.

Re: Billy Joe Saunders vs Canelo
Seems that its still not confirmed but BJS said he expects Hearn to be able to convince Canelo to agree to 22ft

haller, it didn't matter if he outboxes him. he will not get a pts decision against him, it's impossible

*doesn't*

Miike I know what and why u mean, 70000 would riot but the world is watching and as I said, I have a funny feeling he will box his face off and leave the bent judges no choice but to offer up a draw with rematch.. that's where my money is. A draw.

Re: Billy Joe Saunders vs Canelo
If GGG can’t stop Canelo than BJS has no hope surely?

I’d love him to win, the pikeys down in Hatfield are a rare old bunch.

Re: Billy Joe Saunders vs Canelo
Goose, GGG was simply easy to hit though. BJS movement is among best in world on his day.
Could frustrate Canelo ALL fight.

Re: Billy Joe Saunders vs Canelo
He could & he may well do - only to be robbed by the judges.

Only one way to stop that happening but I don’t think he has that in him.

Re: Billy Joe Saunders vs Canelo
Eubank Jnr took Saunders to a split decision, I don’t think he has the power to keep Canelo off for long. From the sixth round on I see Canelo stopping him.

Re: Billy Joe Saunders vs Canelo
Only one winner for me and it’s not BJS I’m afraid. As good as BJS is, he’s not met anyone in Alvarez’s class. Have a horrible feeling it won’t last long but more than happy to be wrong.

Re: Billy Joe Saunders vs Canelo
Canelo has got too much in his locker. His jab is like a haymaker, his uppercut would floor King Kong and his body shots would awaken the dead, or something like that.

Re: Billy Joe Saunders vs Canelo
The winner will be the Mexican meat
The physical transformation is striking, add that to undeniable boxing excellence and this is a package that all logic suggests is unbeatable
But, I have a funny feeling that BJS will somehow get a result - Fury's farmer?
Whilst holding no allegiance or connection to the Gypsy fraternity I did like his reposte to the question of
'Billy, how can you win, he has beaten all comers from everywhere since Mayweather?'
'Yeah I get that, but he has never fought a gypsy'

Loads of pay per view I don’t bother with but this isn’t one of them .

BJS is clever, will be a great fight

Re: Billy Joe Saunders vs Canelo
Canelo on points, as per usual.

He's the poster boy of boxing, they'll do anything to help him keep the titles.

Council Scum 11:55 Thu May 6
Re: Billy Joe Saunders vs Canelo
BJS is no Fury.

He scarped past Eubank Jnr and has only fought 9 times in 7 years. Far to many people believe the hype/bullshit that has been thrown about.

He's British so it would be nice to see an upset and he can box for sure, but anyone thinking BJS is going to dance round and and outbox him or that Canelo is bothered in anyway shape or form, knows shit about boxing.
